About the Project Manager role

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in project management within the financial services sector, including the management of SaaS projects in the FinTech and/or RegTech industries.
You will be responsible for coordinating a busy programme of complex delivery projects across multiple senior internal and external stakeholders. You will love building strong relationships yet enjoy the hands-on and detailed aspects of the work, as you’ll need to create plans, manage risks, maintain documentation, and ensure that all parties receive quality outcomes and exemplary communication.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, time-management, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, define project scope and objectives, and coordinate resources and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal teams, clients, and third-parties to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
• Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and track project performance, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet high standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project management efficiency.

Your Knowledge and Experience
• 10+ years of project management experience, preferably in the SaaS (FinTech/RegTech) and the Financial Services industries, ideally in the wealth and/or asset management sectors
• Experience and certifications in recognised methodologies such as PRINCE 2 & Agile
• Experience with complex platform and data migration projects
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Jira, Teamwork, MS Project, Airfocus) and collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Miro, Figma and Teams).
• Familiarity with financial sector regulatory compliance is a plus.
• Experience managing regulatory change within a business e.g. implementing SMCR or MiFID
