Ruleguard Update 4.87.0

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.87.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

Attestations about Firms

Firms can now be the subject of an attestation.

• This covers both Whole Subject Responses and Prompts & Responses.
• Users can launch attestations directly from a Firm Card using configured placeholders (now also provided).
• A new “Events” tab has been added to Firm Cards to track related activities against that Firm.
• A new “Issues” tab on Firm Cards shows all issues where this Firm has been linked to an Issue.
• Added two attributes in MIv2 that can be used to filter where a Firm has or has not been included in an Event Design and/or has or has not had Events logged against it.

External Users

Broadened the External Users concept to allow assignation of Events and Issues to these Users.

• External users from tagged Firms can now be assigned as Owners, Backups, and Alert recipients for Attestations, Workflows and Task Lists.
• External users can now be configured to be selectable from Multi-Select (Users Fields).
  
  

General

• Made improvements to the regulatory updates feature ahead of changes to the way FCA deliver its Rules to platform providers. See the blog here.
• Improved Tagging within Attestations, Workflows and Designs to allow tagging on launch, to enable better 'Solutions' navigation (e.g. Event's can be tagged with Compliance monitoring).
  
  • This will happen automatically if a Solution is already active as a Tag Filter.
• Reintroduced the ability to modify email recipients during a Staged Workflow/Issue transition, to support use-cases where such amendments are appropriate depending on the nature of the case raised.
  
• Improved the sanitisation of content pasted from third-party applications such as MS Word so that PDF document generation does not fail, resolving a rare use-case where documents weren't being generated.
  
• Improved the logic around transition conditions to better respect changes in linked item values before making a transition.
• Modified the logic for CSV downloads to remove unwanted “Shared” columns for linked subjects on Process, Risk or Control matrices, until the matrices are in 'Advanced relationships - expanded mode' where they hold more value.
  
• Resolved an issue whereby tasks set to specific “Business Day” (e.g. 3rd business day of month) were appearing one day early in user inboxes.
• Resolved an issue whereby Mandatory Field rules were not always being correctly enforced during bulk creation of Issues after a sequence of steps.
• Resolved an issue whereby the optional thousands separator was not being applied during the bulk creation of Issues.
• Improved the way we manage Hidden Fields during bulk creation of Issues whereby previously we were displaying a value for these Fields which could be misleading.
• Improved the handling of deleted Issues and Forms during bulk creation.
• Improved the User Experience by removing the review Stage for Forms in the case that only one Firm is selected.
