Ruleguard Update 4.84.0

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.84.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

 

Bulk Create and Transition for Staged Workflows (Solutions)

  • Users can now create multiple stage workflow items in bulk, streamlining processes like vendor assessments or personal account dealing submissions.
    • Admins may configure specific Custom Fields to be prepopulated with the values from previous entries during this bulk issue creation, reducing repetitive typing.
    • Admins will also be able to optionally configure whether the creating User can identify the target stages before proceeding, helping them make informed transition choices (else these can remain hidden so that workflows are progressed silently, without revealing their destination).
  • Users may now bulk-transition Solutions (those already created) —saving time and reducing errors when processing large volumes of Stage Workflow actions.
    • Conditions are respected so that only valid Transitions will occur.  Stage Actions will automatically be performed on submission.
  • Emails related to bulk creation and 'transition emails' have now been consolidated by User and Stage, reducing email noise and improving relevance.

Bulk Send Forms for Supplier Oversight

  • Similar to the Bulk Operations described above, a User will now be able to bulk launch Forms (e.g. Due Diligence Forms for external Suppliers) via a new User Experience (UX) that makes this selection easy.

Management Information 'v2' (BETA)

  • All users now have access to the "clone" and "download" features in MI 2, making it easier to reuse and export reports.
  • When MI 2 errors occur, users can now report them directly through the interface, making support engagement faster and more user-friendly.
  • Users can now filter by "Employed by" legal entities in person filters, improving granularity in MI reports.
  • Added new properties to better report on 'gaps' where 'Events' (Attestation designs, Attestation events, Task designs, Task events, Workflow designs and Workflow events) exist but are not mapped to other Entities.
  • Resolved an issue with the 'Does not Contain' feature.
 
 

General Stage Workflow and Forms Improvements

Staged Workflows

  • Added the Automated Transition feature to any Stage (vs. only being available on create) so that Users can be triaged quickly down the only path available (particularly useful where the next Stage information is hidden) to better support use-cases where knowledge of the path taken might be sensitive.
  • Increased the scope of the 'send Transition email' to include the new Assignee concept within Staged Workflows.
  • Added the ability for Users to request that Ruleguard define multiple transitions between the same two Stages (currently limited to one), allowing for more varied conditions and more flexible workflows.
    • Please note this may be configured by Ruleguard Support Users only.  Please contact us at support@ruleguard.com to discuss your use-case.
  • Internal APIs for transitioning Issues have been upgraded for reliability and futureproofing, to facilitate bulk operations.

Forms

  • Improved the Form setup UX so that now, users can create forms and sections faster and with fewer steps.
  • Added a Transition Condition that will only permit progression of a Form once all Form Sections are completed.
  • Added a 'status bar' to better track the progress of Forms.

General Improvements & Fixes

  • Improved the handling of Legal Entity name changes in Statements of Responsibilities (SOR's) so that the 'diff' comparison feature better identifies changes to Legal Entity names and subsequent positional changes due to inherent sorting.
