Ruleguard Update 4.82.0

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.82.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

New 'Assignee' concept

It is now possible to add the concept of "Assignee" to issue and solution workflows in addition to the existing "Owner" and "Watcher" concepts. Where used, you will notice Assignee as an option alongside the others.

Assignees work in much the same way as Owners or Watchers but can help you make it clear which user(s) are responsible for taking action at a particular time or stage in the workflow. It is also now possible add an entire user group (not just a single owner) into one of these fields!

You can control exactly what Assignees are allowed to do (as compared to Owners or Watchers) in the permissions and roles screen, which has been expanded to include Assignees.

Assignees will show up everywhere you'd expect them to including workflow cards and matrix screens as columns you can filter and search. You'll also see items marked clearly for you as assignee in your inbox when relevant.

Permissions management update

We've updated the Users & Permissions screens to show a clearer layout for permissions, which groups specific permissions under headings that help you find what you're looking for more easily.

 General fixes and improvements

• Improved labelling of solution workflows when sharing them with other Ruleguard accounts
• Improvements to internal and external user indicators
• Fixed an issue relating to archived workflows still being visible
• Introduced a new permission relating to firm user management
