Ruleguard Update 4.23.0

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.23.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

General Improvements & Fixes

  • Added the ability to add a 'child' Requirement to an existing Requirement, to enable customers to organise their Requirements (Rules, Contracts, Policies, and so on) within a hierarchy.

  • Added the ability to modify an existing 'parent' Requirement to complement the above.

  • Added the ability to identify local Reminder or Task coverage 'gaps' on Risk, Control and Process matrices (by way of filtering for rows that do not have a Reminder or Task mapped) so that Users may better validate that they have 'assurance' across major compliance entities stored in Ruleguard.

  • Added the ability to reorder columns on Risk, Control and Process matrices.

    • Applies to columns that are not related to 'Advanced filters' (i.e. relationship or attestation data columns will remain in a given system order, for example).

  • Improved the usability (UX) and look and feel (UI) of the User Roles administration page to make it easier for 'admins' to allocate and manage permissions across their User population.

  • Improved the Owners column content on the 'Event responses' matrix by adding linked User Groups data (User names are now enclosed in brackets where this occurs).

    • User may text search to better filter responses to these groups.

  • Resolved an issue whereby an unexpected visual artefact was appearing on downloaded 'Compliance Document' PDF's.

  • Resolved an issue with the Issues API whereby when posting data to 'Rich text' fields the API was limiting its content to two hundred characters.

Requirement Updates Module

  • Users will now receive emails when allocated to a Requirement update 'Task'.

  • Stage Users will receive an email when a new Requirement update has been created.

  • Ensured notifications now display Requirement updates to stage Users where an update is in an 'open' state.

  • Added Requirement updates to the inbox for stage Users where an update is in an 'open' state.

  • Added Requirement Update 'Tasks' to the inbox for Task Owners / Shared Users where Task is incomplete.

    • Also within the 'Outstanding' section, where applicable.
