Ruleguard Update 4.108.0

Written by Shaun Jeavons | Aug 7, 2026, 4:47:17 PM

We're pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.108.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

Accountability - Person Workflows

  • Clear selected fields when a workflow moves stage.

    • A new Clear Fields Transition Action lets you nominate fields that should be emptied when an Accountability Stage Workflow transitions.

    • Useful for recurring reviews, where last cycle's answers should not carry forward to this cycle's.

    • Transition Summary lists Fields before the transition runs (mandatory Fields will still be cleared). When the transition runs, a confirmation page lists each field and its current value.

    • Calculated fields cannot be cleared, and clearing a field that feeds a calculation recalculates the result.

    • If every nominated field is already empty, the action is ignored (not offered)

    • Audit history captures modifications.

  • Refresh fields with the latest information on transition.

    • A new Refresh Fields Transition Action repopulates a Person Workflow's with the latest data when the workflow transitions - so that role and accountability information reflects where the business is now.

    • The Transition Summary names the fields that will be refreshed. At the point of transition you see a comparison of current and updated values, and can override any new value before committing.

    • Where a transition has both Refresh Fields and Clear Fields configured, Refresh Fields takes precedence.

    • Audit history captures modifications.

AI

  • This release adds features that enhance Ruleguard AI use-cases. Please reach out to your Relationship Manager or Enterprise Account Representative for more details.

Improvements and fixes

  • Sub-Task due dates in the Inbox now show the final moment at which a Sub-Task is due. Previously, the Inbox panel showed the last moment at which a parent Task could be completed, while a nested Sub-Task showed the first moment at which it was due. This made the actual deadline ambiguous. Both now display the deadline consistently.

  • MI drill-down tables no longer return rows excluded by your filters. On a report configured to exclude People and Certification Functions with an end date, the drill-down table could still return end-dated entries. In addition, a drill-down for one Certification Function could return results for other Certification Functions. Both filter paths are now applied correctly within the drill-down.
