Ruleguard Update 4.91.0

Written by Shaun Jeavons | Nov 4, 2025 6:03:39 PM

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.91.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

Issues/Stage Workflow

A new Transition Action has been introduced that enables the workflow to launch another corresponding Stage Workflow during transition.

  • Configuration Users may specify Field values to share across enabling dynamic workflows like onboarding that trigger ongoing due diligence processes or other Tasks that themselves go through a Workflow.
  • Note that values are shared once at the point of transition. This does not create a sustained live sync between values with the original Issue.

FCA Handbook Migration to Regulatory Updates

  • The migration to receiving FCA Handbook Updates via Regulatory Update Workflows concludes this evening.
    • The FCA Handbook Page will be set Read-Only as Regulatory Updates are now live.
  • Update previews from the Subscription page have been improved by removing unchanged Rules, making it easier to identify changes.

MIv2

  • It is now possible to display information relating to Assignees on Issues and Stage Workflows (including grouping and filtering) in reports.
  • Similarly, it is now possible to filter MIv2 reports by the Owner of Issue Tasks.
  • MIv2 now exposes the Topics associated with Attestation subjects and makes these available in filters, data tables, groupings, and drilldowns.
  • MI2 now supports filtering and grouping Controls and Issues by their linked relationship type (e.g. Control Failure), improving reporting granularity on failure types and their impact.

General

  • It is now possible to create and edit maps between Process/Controls and Risks using the External APIs using either internal Ruleguard IDs or external reference IDs (but not both mixed), enabling seamless integration of Process-Risk mapping updates from external systems.
  • It is now possible to modify the Importance Field on System Rules, such as FCA Handbook Rules. This is particularly useful for clients who do not use Topics and need a simpler way to flag rule applicability.
  • Made a wide-ranging set of subtle performance enhancements throughout the app to deliver better performance and a smoother User Experience for enterprise customers.
  • Clarified the wording on Calculation Delays in Automations management screen.
  • Resolved an MIv2 issue whereby the Download CSV was presenting a different Column Order to that seen in the User Interface (UI).
  • Resolved and MIv2 issue whereby Yes/No values were not always displaying as "Yes/No" in the CSV download.
  • Resolved an MIv2 issue whereby an error would appear if both Mapped Control and Process 'type' fields were present.
  • Made a small UI improvement to prevent non-HTTP requirement sources from appearing as Links.
