Ruleguard Update 4.33.0

We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 4.33.0 is now live!

This update contains the following changes:

Feature Spotlight: Compliance Document Custom Fields

  • Compliance Documents will now include the content of any Custom Fields designed into Process, Risk and Controls entities to better communicate your 'compliance universe'.

  • The comparison feature will now include these new Fields providing a useful demonstration of updates between any two versions.

  • Previously saved versions remain as they were.

  • Note: Restricted Fields will be displayed (document remains protected by View Document permissions).

Requirement Updates - Transition Action to Launch Requirement Updates

  • Added the ability to configure a given Requirement Update when transitioning between two Stages to 'launch' (and link) another Requirement Update via a Transition Action.

  • This will bring across any Requirements that have been updated (updated or created) plus any linked documents to these new 'Updates', to support 'post Requirement acceptance' activities such as defining applicability or allocating tasks to other team members.

  • Added a 'Prevent Edits' option on Requirement Update Stages to make a Stage 'read-only', to support cases whereby Stage Users are required to review but not modify e.g. newly updated Requirements.

General Improvements & Fixes

  • Renamed ID to Design ID on the Events Matrix to make it clearer what this ID refers to.

  • Added Event ID to the Events Matrix to be consistent with the Event Responses Matrix.

  • Renamed ID to Event ID on the Event Responses Matrix to better indicate what this ID refers to.

  • Added Design ID to Event Responses Matrix to now better be able to link Event's and Designs between this and other matrices after data has been downloaded.

  • Added Design ID to Upcoming Events Matrix.

  • Added validation to prevent a selection option being archived where it is selected as a default selection (until the default is removed).

  • Made User Experience (UX) improvements to the operation of adding new selection options to a Selection (Tiered) Field to ensure modifications are saved and not accidentally discarded.

  • Made UX improvements to Custom Field management to better indicate the defaults that have been applied to each Field.

  • Resolved an issue whereby clicking complete on an attestation after adding General Remarks was not completing the attestation until a subsequent (additional) click.

  • Resolved formatting and data information irregularities on the Responsibilities Maps causing for example Responsibility Type headings to appear where no data was present for the date set.
