Updated: Jul 27
We are pleased to announce that Ruleguard version 3.38 is now live!
This update contains the following changes:
Added text and background colour controls, as well as a page break feature, to RM 'free content' sections
(The page break will control where the PDF export of the RM document moves to the next page.)
Extended how the 'View person' permission works when you use the 'Own functions' and 'Specific functions' options
Previously, a person was considered to belong to a function if they were mapped to it in the Organisation Design and/or Reporting Lines views on Ruleguard
Now, we've added two additional ways a person can belong to a function:
1) If it is a legal entity and they are "Employed By" it according to that field on their person screen; and
2) if it is a legal entity and they have a job role belonging to it
A person will now be considered part of a function if any or all of these situations are true, affecting who is displayed when a permission gives access to a function as well as what your "own" functions are if that option is chosen.
Extended the 'legal entities' column on the person matrix to respect the same logic outlined above
Added a legal entity picker on the person screen
This will filter various parts of the page to show information from the selected entity only.
An indicator will appear to show you which sections are being filtered when this option is used.
Added a visual indicator (a small blue clock) in various places to highlight where information (such as a job role) begins in the future
Modified the default sort order for records to show the most recent first instead of the oldest first.
Remove the deprecated 'approved' SOR status for draft SORs (this is no longer applicable)
Improved the display of audit records when editing a user
Added function as a 'related entity' on audit screens when changing a record inside that function.
Fixed an issue where the legal entity column for Prescribed Responsibilities on a SOR was not being correctly populated
Fixed an issue that could prevent updating a text field with conditional display rules
Fixed an issue causing blank data on attestation pass/fail MI cards
Fixed an issue with the display of certification end dates on unsubmitted FCA directory records
Fixed an issue caused by searching for certain keywords used in Ruleguard standard content
Fixed an issue causing issues/breaches to show the user that owned the issue in place of the user that created it
Fixed an issue with permissions required to export details of user roles
Made some layout changes to the Admin / Configuration screen sections
Fixed an issue with filters being preserved after drilling up/down on functions and responsibilities grids
Fixed an issue with custom fields continuing to display old values after updating the custom field configuration
Fixed an issue that could cause an error message on searching the person matrix
Fixed an error message caused when changing MI card configuration
Fixed an issue when selecting identically named actions in the Audit screen
Fixed an issue with replacing blocked users on event design screens
